South Mountain Sheep & Lamb is a fully grass-fed grass-finished farm. Our lambs strip graze New Zealand style which mean they are moved to fresh greens every few days to ensure the highest natural nutrition. All of our lambs are pasture raised and pasture finished, with NO antibiotics, NO added growth hormones, and NO grains. Our Soil: By planting with high forage seeds and using regenerative farming practices with no till drilling this helps increases soil fertility. By building the diverse structure of the soil which teams with nutrient life and grazing all our lambs on 100% grasses this promotes healthy lambs. South Mountain Sheep & Lamb uses NO genetically modified organisms (GMO), NO Pesticides, and NO Herbicides. Our Processor: South Mountain Sheep & Lamb uses Piedmont Custom Meats for all of their processing and packaging from start to finish. PCM is USDA-inspected facility and understands the importance of attention to detail when handling our products. Piedmont uses state-of-the-art roll stock vacuum seal machines and all packaging is weighed and farm labeled for ready presentation. Based on customer demands our farm can tailor your order to specific cuts of lamb meat. We sell to butchers with whole, half lamb or we even have specific cuts selling in bulk bundles of lamb directly to the consumer.
